Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds and a solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance. The ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish.

In many cultures, the shell is universally recognized as a positive feminine symbol which represents birth, life, resurrection, love and good luck. In China, the shell is one of the Eight Good Prophetic Symbols and signifies a prosperous journey.

You will see variations in color, glaze, size, etc., as they are made one piece at a time and not mass produced. These variations are part of the beauty of handmade art. Hang on a tree, mantle, car mirror, drawer, luggage, etc. Comes with a metal loop fired into the clay for hanging. My work speaks to those who nurture, love, and seek to live in harmony. Some comments that I am getting from store owners is that customers stop to read the messages and then end up buying several because of the words and imagery. These pieces are nice to display year round. Fired twice in a ceramic kiln to around 2000 degrees F Approximately 2.75 to 3 inches in length
