Susan Sorensen experienced thyroid cancer at age 19 and breast cancer at 41.  A speaker and author of books and Bible studies, she has also written for Christian Parenting Today and Children's Ministry magazines.  She served two years as the National Coordinator of the National Day of Prayer during her five years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. Susan lives with her husband and children in Michigan.

Laura Geist was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40.  With a master's degree in journalism, she is a freelance writer who has written for many publications including Automotive News, The Chicago Tribune, and Atlanta Journal Constitution. Laura, who lives in Michigan with her husband and children, speaks to women's groups about finding joy amidst the pain of cancer.
